Mo Eldridge is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, and writer currently based in Marfa, TX. They received a BA in Arts and Humanities from Indiana University and an MFA in Writing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Writing and performance are foundational to Eldridge’s artistic approach. Early years of their artistic practice centered around poetic performance and installation, always in relation to publication. Their Studio practice manifests as transparent sculpture paintings. These works hover off the wall, highlighting light // space, kinetic composition, and elements of suspension // tension.

There is equal engagement for Eldridge between their individual practice and community organizing, and a dynamic commitment where one continually fuels the other. They have curated exhibitions and art communions in both Chicago, IL and Marfa, TX; most notably as a founding member of the annual Sonic Rodeo festival in Marfa. Eldridge is a full-time instructor at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, TX.
